So I just received my mavic air 2 yesterday and after charging a  battery and powering up, I’m getting an error stating the gimbal is receiving non compatible IMU data and to contact DJI support.
Is there an easy fix? I’ve calibrated  the IMU And compass. Still getting the error.

It sounds like you may have to return it. You could try a complete factory reset in assistant .

Already contacted support. Looks like I received a defective unit. So much for flying anytime soon...
