Has anyone had any experience on succesfully purchasing anything from DJI with tax exempt status? I purchased a Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom earlier this year. Since I work with a university, the two Mavics were tax exempt. However, DJI charged me tax and it took over a month, many empty promise from Support, before I was able to get the refund of the tax. They told me with my next purchase to go through DJI Support to get the tax exempt status applied before the purchase. As directed, I reached out to Support back on April 23rd and provided information on what I needed to purchase and my tax exempt documentation. Support advised that they forwarded my request to the "appropriate" department, and two weeks later I got another request to resubmit my documentation. I've since followed up weekly to Sales@DJI.com and Support@DJI.com and get the same response...."we've forwarded your request to the appropriate department....and.....rest assured we're doing everything possible to process your request." I can't decide if the customer service team is just that incompetent, or they've have the majority market share and just don't care. I ask specific questions and ask for updates to customer service, but never get any kind of resolution. It shouldn't take over a month to process an order purchase and get tax exempt status applied. Has anyone else had similar issues, or found a way to resolve. DJI sure doesn't make it easy to do business with them.
