We all know that this little boy has been released about an year and half ago.
At that time, Osmo Pocket was the one and only and matchless camera on the field.
(Such portable and powerful with 3-Axis gimbal.)
However, like every elctronics do and as we all know, the first generation is experimental release,
and normally updated version so-called Mark II is much more better than former one.
Then the buyers of 1st gen. become early-adopters.
From the release date, so many users of OP, including you and me,
have pointed out so many things that have to be fixed/improved/added on OP.
Also, there are challengers started to appear released from Xiomi or Feiyu. (And would be more.)
Those new guys have some features that OP users wanted to be with OP.
And some features without any accessories while OP needs to have.
What I think is, unless DJI gave up to be a pioneer of this kind of product,
with current OP, it's impossible.
They have to upgrade from hardware to software, to make more powerful camera.
For example, we need to have wireless module to connect OP and phone wireless.
There should be an adapter to connect external mic to OP.
We can't control the gimbal horizontal without control wheel if not connnect with phone.
I still don't understand why the wireless module can't be used with 3.5mm Mic adapter.
It's just simpel board connecting issue, and anyone who're good at molding can mod it easily.
Osmo Pocket is now on discount, and now I expect that OP 'Mk II' would be released anytime soon.
It won't be any huge firmware update for additional feature of OP,
but fixing some issues such as raw files of photo, etc.
(It would be highly appreciated to solve the problems though.)
I'm not sure if I can have shorter interval for timelapse/hyperlapse,
set waypoints with normal video mode as timelapse mode has,
and so many nice features that you guys have suggested.
It would be so fantastic if DJI make OP more powerful,
but I can't stop thinking that they're preparing a new generation for OP, not the firmware updates.
