A firmware update is needed for those that own a Mavic Air 2, the gimbal when doing sport mode it recenter itself pkenty of times and it does not help the footgae be stable. If your going throught the same please let me and DJI know that this is not good for those that want to do active track or get those perfect shots!

Hi there, thanks for your feedback, are you referring to when flying backward and gimbal pitch angle is over -90°, the gimbal will lift up? If yes, this is normal.
Due to the limit of the lower mechanical angle of the gimbal, when the gimbal pitch angle is over -90° and flying backward, the tilt angle of the aircraft may arrive at its limit. To avoid reaching the limit, the gimbal will actively adjust the attitude and lift up to avoid video jitter when hitting the limit. This phenomenon may also occur when flying forward and suddenly brake. Appreciate your understanding.

Oh ok thanks Mindy, I thought this was a gimbal issue when using sport mode, maybe DJI should still have a new firmware update to resolve user issues.

It is a mechanical limitation and all the DJI consumer drones have the same phenomenon, it can not be fixed via the firmware, thanks for your understanding.
