A short film using the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic Air 2, Osmo Pocket and Sony A7riii. It has been quite a surreal experience seeing the empty streets of San Francisco as people stay at home. I wanted to capture this point in time so we can reflect back when this is all over. This short film goes through the heart of the city in Union Square, Market Street, Ferry Building, Salesforce Transit Center and the Golden Gate Bridge. Seven counties in California, including San Francisco, declared shelter-in-place orders that began on March 16 due to the coronavirus.
Amazing! Ive been seeing a lot of videos like this. Empty streets are just beautiful to look at. Theres an aesthetic feel to it because moments like this rarely happens.

Question.... I thought it was illegal to fly drones in the city and near the Golden Gate bridge. That's what kinda got me freaked out after hearing some horror stories of people getting fined and arrested for flying drones in areas they thought were safe because there was no posting banning drones. Now I'm afraid to fly for fear of getting caught even if its in a area I think is safe.

Drone rules are super complex because the rules fall under various jurisdictions. As I sit here and attempt to explain, there really is no short answer. I've been flying here for years and have been slowly learning the rules. I suggest you do your own research and maybe consider getting the FAA Part 107 license as a start.
