Just notice today on my mavic air 2 that when flying in sports mode, with throttle full forward, the gimbal tilts down a bit, like 8 degrees. Is it normal?

Totally normal - it's to compensate for the pitch angle of the actual drone so 1. not to strain and potentially damage the gimbal motors and 2. so that your footage isn't ruined by having the props show in the frame
