I switch between two diffirent iPhones the 8 Plus and the 6S when operating my MP2.  I notice on my 8 Plus the fly timer does not show, instead a white oval covers the time stamp.  How do I turn that back on??  Also my map is dark in color instead of being bright as if there was a toggle between day and night view. How do I toggle that?? This is on both phones by the way.

Instead there’s a white oval covering the time. How do I get rid of that?  Also my maps appear dark now, how do I go back to a brighter map?? I attached a screen shot of both my issues.

Hi there, did you enable the dark mode on your iPhone? If yes, please turn it off to see whether the issue persists.

No that did not work and it happens on both phones. The 6s does not have the dark option since I have not updated the firmware on that phone

Per other users' feedback, the flying time shows up when switching to Light Mode, could you please double-check whether your phone is in Light Mode under Settings--Display&Brightness and then test again?

I had checked the settings on my iPhone 8 Plus and it was in dark mode.  I switched it to daylite mode and now everytng is back to normal

I've been informed that if you're phone or iPad is operating on "Dark Mode", that may be the issue... it's worth a shot
