Phoebe, my Spark, has been behaving perfectly for quite a while now. No problems, fine handling, much range. Figuring she was good, I let my DJI Care expire. Yesterday.

Today, twice, about 38 ft up and 111ft out, she got compass interferance in and open space over water. The first time, she got back to GPS mode as I was bringing her back, so I continued my flight nervously, but did not finish what I had in mind 'cause of nerves.

Changed battery. About 38 ft up and 111ft out, she got compass interferance in about the same place, over water.

I'll take her out to a different place tomorrow and see how she does there.

The question is, "How did Phoebe know I let the DJI care expire?"

Oh, I forgot to post yesterday, "Happy Unboxing Day Phoebe!" I guess I was too busy celebrating.

She's connected, that's how she knew :-)

My M2P is playing up but my warranty is not up yet fortunately.

I took her out to the practice field and burned up 2 batteries. She behaved normally. Must have been the UFO base.
