very interesting... i hope it is! it looks kind of like a long air unit and it's plugged in with a lipo. this event looks like a test of their prototype since they're partnered with dji and caddx.

I think that conclude what kind of support You can get here... On official forum DJI team support can not even confirm livestream unit existence ;) joke
those units are is on market for some time; DJI just milking drone racing events. And If I'm right about some rumors they only borrowing those groundstation type units, not selling them with contract paragraphs to not show/speak about them

but no worry, as Fatshark is v. close to relase their digital platform (Shark Byte) around end of year, then this will end DJI exclusiv digital era

It's a fact - that DJI FPV convice pilots to digital world, they did push fpv ahead into new era! But instead of develop it faster, make it more accesible to more users (and cheaper), they decide to keep price v. high and limit users entry. Yes, I speak about ridoculus ignoring of daily pilots requests, no video feeds outside google/600$ extra accesory..., slow limited OSD support,groundstations only for "events" with skyrocket price, air unit freezes not solved till today so I hope new competition will again move us into next stage of digital

Sadly after analyzing Shark Byte carefully they are way behind on the VTX design the Video receiver looks to be ok but not the VTX it need way more work.


I Think there may be a other work around not having live video out off the googles for racing but it will be some extra work organizing it. DVR

those problems are with air unit - somehow connected with SD card>freeze whole unit

Shark VTX looks ATM primitive - agree here that's why I wait for next relase - I read about next batch to be sent for reviews around october
but look at it from other side - it works without so big heatsink and there is pretty big chance to make it smaller/lighter

I just released that there is really no good way to fly DJI from a Car as it don't t have any external video receiver.

The vintner is coming and analog is really the only option from the Car or connex.
