Hi! I’m trying to find exact bitrates for each resolution+FPS combination on the Mini.

Would be happy to buy a coffee or a beer for anyone who can provide it

Alternatively, if anyone knows how much footage can fit on an SD card, I can calculate the bitrate from there (again, in each setting).

I’d also love to know the native ISO and the exact sensor size in millimeters if anyone has confirmed info on that. I’ve seen people say it’s ISO 100, but I wasn’t sure if people were confusing native ISO for just the setting with the least noise.

My findings are as follows:

40 Mbps variable at 2720x1530 29.97fps, 1980x1080 59.94fps
35 Mbps variable at 1980x1080 25, 29.97fps
35 Mbps variable MAX at 1980x1080 24 fps

Basically if you wanna save memory card space you can shoot 24 fps which ends up with a lower average bitrate, probably in my case this was dictated by the low light motion pictures, mostly heavy on dark areas without any appreciable detail (I only shoot 24 or formerly 25 fps at dusk).

Now, where's my beer ?

You have to find a MA user that can test it.

Just realized they consolidated my threads for the Air and the Mini because I asked the same question on both.

Does anyone have this info for the Air?
