I am about to start a 3 week shoot on the road, and it appears the usb mini input (which is used for charging and to connect my phone/monitor) is no longer working. I can connect my phone/monitor with the other usb input, but it does not appear to be able to charge it that way. Is there another way to charge a remote controller? I also won a Mavic Zoom. Can I link that controller to my mavic 2 and use that instead? I prefer flying the mavic 2 over the zoom in most cases. Thanks!!

That should work fine.
You just need to link the new controller.

The only way to charge the DJI Mavic 2 remote controller is through the side port of the said remote controller. You may link the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom remote controller on your DJI Mavic 2 Pro.
