my approach is a little more practical i sould say..
because the central strap hang is interfering with the phone's screen.
So i use an old camera's hang loops placing them on handles (with my phone attached so i could have the central of gravity set) and the camera's strap.
It is very succesfull and i may say beautifull....
Easy and fast mod...

Monk32, are the metal bits in slots that you have cut into the controller's arms?

Hello,
I put the cable tie off centre so that the neck strap stays away fom the Moverio glasses cable (which is in centre).
The controller arms have metal hinges, convenient to hold the cable tie ends.

Hi. Yes the metal hooks are inserted through small cuts on the arms surface and welded by a thermal glue. Simple as that.
