Hello,
The red arrow on the map in the lower left corner in the DJI GO 4 app (pls refer to attached picture) does NOT reflect the direction in which the drone is moving.
My Spark is looking forward (in other words, I can see its rear with the battery), however the red arrow points wrong to the right The red arrow used to point straightforward as it should do but it stopped doing so some days ago. I've been using my Spark for one year and haven't noticed such a problem so far.
The attached picture shows the problem - in reality, the drone was facing towards "H" point but the arrow indicates a wrong direction (deviation is slightly less than 45 ' to the right). The screen was taken while the drone was on the ground but the same behaviour is noticed while airborne.
What I did in order to get the problem solved - with no success:
- Re calibration of drone's compass*
- Re calibration of drone's IMIU*
- Re calibration of smartphone's compass*
- Use of another smartphone
- Check if smartphone's compass works properly using a compass app on the phone
- Drone's factory-reset using DJI Assistant 2 software
- Setup of a new DJI account
*(performed several times, far away from any magnetic fields)
I'd appreciate any further ideas to solve the issue.
Piotr
