When I plug the Action adaptor into the USB C port and insert a mic............ I get the little mic symbol come up on the action screen............but nothing happens the little symbol does not fluctuate with the sound levels........and playback reveals no sound at all. I have tested with several different mics

The normal built-in mics work fine when the adaptor is removed. I


Any ideas ?

CYNOVA mic adaptor look on the usb type side remove the  insulation off it some do and some do not have to remove it, do that at your own risk not mine. and see if it makes a better fit  mine works 100% and others  had to do that, on the thingy
