Hi, I never fly indoors. Anyone think it is best to disable the VPS system then ?  Is it any good outside ?

Secondly, after updating fw to 1.2.7 I noticed the drone is not flying as stable as it did before.

For now, if you get stability issues then disable VPS..

DJI have confirmed to me that my VPS is not working correctly and have advised its disabling! Howeve ...

Using Vps my unit loses altitude regularly.... Horizontally as well.  Before I could trust it to take static video of space at 8 feet. Now I have to look back at it to make sure it's not going to cut someone's head off , or minimally scalp them.

Mine did not lose altitude prior to the latest FW Selina. Now it is slightly wonky. ;-)

It worked in 1.1.8.  It worked in 1.1.9.  It stopped working in 1.2.6 - 1.2.8.   

DJI is working on a solution.  (Hopefully soon?)

DJI released a public statement recommending DISABLING VPS until the next update.

DJI also has released a public statement that all future firmware releases will allow rollback to a previous version.  (Good idea.)

Until the new release.   DISABLE VPS.  And wait....

How do I disable VPS on the Phanton 4 DJI Go App. The sub-menu options under Advanced settings is missing?

I find disabling VPS or using A mode is much more reliable indoors. I usually just use A mode.
