It's a nice video and a lovely place but why oh why do people post such videos on youtube? Yes I know it's not the OP's video.
Straight over a built up area and people and I think about 1.5km between the Abbey ond the most northerly point I took note of. A VLOS flight? I would be surprised if it was. Do the CAA come knocking on your door?

By the look of a google maps satellite view they good probably have got some very nice views by flying over farmland to the east rather than stright over the blooming town.

Wow lucky not to lose the drone

I have my regular share with pidgins as well, seagulls however are more the fun type. I training on a large rice field near my home, and there are always seagulls, they usually fly with me, not really attack the drone, i guess it’s also how the pilot does approach the birds as well, too bad its really hard to film, the best i got is this, (most of the time they fly in formation behind the drone.

But yeah pidgins are dangerous, had serval times scenarios where they try to grab it, and even flying really low wont make them stop.
