Up till now I've just been using the Action for video only. So, I finally got around to trying out the Timed mode in Photo option today and had Dewarped turned ON. Did a test and do not like what I am seeing. the Jpeg looks straight and even, but the RAW images are warped (fisheye). Is this a bug? No idea why the RAW images are turning out like this given the fact that I have Dewarp ON. Any ideas and suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

That is normal as saving the images "untouched" is basically the dictionary definition of a "raw" image file. Applying very destructive in camera post processing options like "dewarp" defies the purpose of having it altogether.

Lens distortion correction is generally among the things you need to address when processing a raw image with any camera; although those distortions are rarely as severe as they are with action cameras.
