Went out last night flying my Mavic Mini at midnight to record the beautiful midnight sun above Altafjord in Northern Norway.
I used ND-filter to get the sun to pop and not to blow out the highlights too much.

So beautiful, nature in Scandinavia is just awesome!

I am still completely amazed by how the MM in particular has put the tools in the hands of anyone  to try and emulate the sort of imagery that, until quite  recently, was the preserve of only a very few well funded professionals.

Yes the Mavic Mini is a good and cheap drone that everyone can afford.
I still wish it could take raw-images, atleast so we have a little more to work with.

Nice experience... and also nice job from the Mavic Mini gathering a good dynamic range (it's just a bit flatted on dark tones). In my test against the Hero 6 Black and and my S9+ it was the best camera in avoiding clipping highlights.

I have still not tested it against other cameras, but I could try to see how it compare to Osmo Action.
Mavic Mini do good job in good light, but a bit noisy in dark areas have I seen.

Northcape (Nordkapp) is a great place, but not the best place/best view. I would recommend going to Havøysund since there is almost no tourists and no entrance fee and prettier scenery.

Northcape is also great, but a bit crowded for my taste and is like a tourist-magnet.

Just wait, maybe the border will open soon. And the best time is in August, much prettier evening sun.

ofcourse i follow the news about opening borders, but travel plan is via Denmark-Sweden-Norway.
so more countries have to open the borders....and keep them open as i have to go back, don`t wanne be trapped in a close country due to another outbreak of this virus

The border is open between Norway and Denmark but not to Sweden since they have so much corona there (we don't have many cases in Norway).
I have a friend in Germany that had plan to travel to Norway this summer, so I hope they will open the border between more countries soon.
You will love it if you get stuck in Norway

Yes it's really great with the midnight sun, and it keep people more active and awake during summer.
