Caught an absolutely AMAZING evening to get some shots of Montauk Point Lighthouse at sunset a couple of days ago.... I mean PER-FECT-O!!
So, I'll be the first to admit a few times the shot gets a little shaky as I'm tracking around the lighthouse... I have been struggling a bit with controlling the rotation rate smoothly while doing orbit shots and I'm wondering if anyone has any insights to offer. It seems like there are a limited number of discrete positions which the controller stick senses, as opposed to a smooth fluid increase in or decrease in rate as the stick is moved. It's like I move the stick a little... nothing, move a little more... nothing, move a tiny bit more, now the rotation is too fast.... move the stick back a little, then it's too slow again.
I'm flying in Cinesmooth mode. I've calibrated and re-calibrated a number of times. It seems more like a hardware limitation than anything else, but just wanted to see if anyone knew differently?
