Just pulled the trigger on this hard case for my MA2, in case you were looking for one.

Good lead. Looks like a quality case at a reasonable price.

I have been using the Combo bag and have found it easy to pack, when bike riding or tossing in my backpack. I sometimes rough it for a full day outing and I picked up another hard case. It arrived yesterday. I plucked the foam, sprayed 4 coast of Plastic Dip, dried overnight and ready to take it out today. I picked the orange case to match my MA2. Enjoy your flying.

yeah, I really don't like the bag that came with the FMC... i really don't understand why the Mini got such a nice organized case and the A2's bag is such a mess... cables and charger on top of batteries, really don't like it. I much prefer this nice style with a cut-out for every piece of the puzzle.

Agree,  I pre-ordered the GPC case.  If something as nice comes along I might pull the trigger on it. I've seen some of the other similar cases but the fit for the AC isn't quite as good and always worry about screwing up the props.

Agreed, you can always spot a mini owner by the almost obsessive care for props )

Yes, I agree with parts in their place. No pressure on the props and I like the feature in any case to allow a cutout for the controller sticks. My charger is tucked under my quad. seperated with foam. Everything in it's place and ready to go.

In the field, I like to have a backpack versus a hard shell...I do like the GPC hardshell to throw in the backseat or trunk.  For the backpack I like small, cushy individual cases.  Something like these only because the MA2 is so new, I'm only finding that on Amazon these won't get to me until the end of July or mid-August.

What about batteries?

Another company makes a three slotted case for the MA2 batteries.

These conform rather nicely into a fairly small backpack along with another small case for filters, props, etc.  Having everything in small, protective cases makes it less bulky than in a single, hardshell container since I only pull two items out of the backpack for the initial flight...the MA2 and RC.  

that's a good point, but still... you're carrying FOUR cases Inside a bigger, FIFTH backpack.... that's a lot of bags/cases for one drone

This is what I use...nylon type material that’s very lightweight.  Net  compartments on each side for water bottles. Main compartment for bigger  cases and two zippered compartments on the outside for extra stuff.

B&H also sells the GPC case (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/p ... ji_mavic_air_2.html), but that hasn't actually shown up yet and is still backordered.
The GPC is more compact and fits the same stuff.

I also bought the GPC case.  I don’t take the charger with me so I use that slot for my iPad mount.

For comparison, this is the Nanuk 915. Double-hinged compression latches and a bit more room inside. I literally keep everything that came with the Fly More Combo in there, plus a few other small items like a color meter and SD card adapter, and there is still room for more.
