Hi Does anyone know where the antenna or antennas are located in a Phantom 4 pro v2? I want to place a small radiation sensor (ca 2 cm diam) on top of the aircraft and wonder if this will disturb the gps?

It might upset the GPS as the antenna is underneath the top centre of the shell, above everything else.
You could test by leaving the drone powered on in the open on the ground and holding your sensor in place, watching what that does to GPS numbers.

Thanks, I will try that and see what the effect is.

Hello there alindroth. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. The antennas of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2.0 are mounted ro the landing gears coresponding to the M1 and M3 motors. Just a friendly reminder that DJI does not recommend putting 3rd party devices on DJI drones. These 3rd party accessories might affect the said DJI drone when in use. There is a possibility that these 3rd party accessories will be able work. However, since it's not optimized and tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the stability of the said 3rd party accessory if it will work all the time with no issues and might void the warranty of the said DJI product. Thank you and have a safe flight always.

Thank you very much for this useful information. I am aware that mounting 3 party equipment is not supported by DJI, it is on my own risk.

Be advised it's likely post #4 is confusing RF antennas with the GPS antenna.

The GPS is in the legs and not in top of the drone?

Wrong, this is the GPS module in P4P

And it's located in the top .

The antennas that receive transmission from the controller and the compass sensor are in the legs.
But the GPS antenna definitely isn't.
And moderators here aren't always a source of accurate information.
