The  Orbit mode seems kind of a waypoint mode, or not?
So it is a "circle Mission", so to speak?
Will the Air 2 continue the Orbit or start an RTH?

Ok, I tested that myself.
And no, it will not "finish the job", but RTH after 20(?) seconds of no connection.

Just be mindful that if the connection is lost when doing a point of interest and the drone is within 20m of your position it will return home at the same altitude when the signal was lost and will not ascend to the preflight RTH altitude. So if rotating around a building or tree for example and you lose sight of the drone be sure to have the OA engaged.

But I had no such  short distance orbiting in mind.
For me it is a lot more important, that the birds RTH setting is not on "landing within 20m" ;-)

Can that be the result of strong interferences, perhaps?

I just saw that they got a directional radio cellphone beacon up there.
And was wondering that I had interferences , include RTH in the "open field" from a spot I have flown before with other birds and no such things!
With a noise over all of the bands, but no real signals per channel

That looks acceptable.
