I usually put a couple hours of flight time on a new drone before having enough confidence to fly it over open water, but the weather made it difficult for me to put the Mini in the air when mine finally arrived in December. I had a total of 8 minutes flight on the Mini when the weather warmed enough for an extended flight, and this is the footage I captured. Not quite a maiden flight, so I call this the inaugural flight of the Mighty Mini.

Nice... quite a challenge, those waves in the beginning look like wind crossed. In weather like that my Mini prefers to stay warm in the footwell of my car ;)

Thanks! There actually wasn't any wind that day. The weather looks savage, but it was about 42 degrees and very calm. There was a storm out at sea, plus a full moon, so the tides were high and the surf was up. You're not the first to mention it! Thanks for taking the time to watch!
