Shot using Phantom 3 Pro and Galaxy Tab s 10.5 (before upgrading frimware to 1.19 and being grounded by lag)



I've since purchased an iPad mini 2, so will be able to practice getting better at flying and filming!

Constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Agreed. Since shooting this ive learned about adjusting the exposure, though im curious to see how you would do that while rotating around an object with the setting sun. Seems like it will either be over or underexposed during half of the rotation.

True, this is difficult but not impossible. You can adjust exposure with the right hand wheel on your RC while controlling the drone. This kind of routines require a lot of practising.
Practice makes you a pro in the end

Very nice especially your rotation around the bell tower.  Can you share your secret for maintaining the object in the field of view while flying in a circle?

Pretty good panning. However, video seems to be overexposed.

Thanks. It was one of my first shoots. Just now learning how to control exposures during a flight.

No secret really. Just held a consistent pressure on the control sticks

I'm in Pasadena, Ca. I was thinking about planning a meet up at the Rose Bowl. Huge open space with lots of room to fly and possible great shots of the Rose Bowl. Anybody reading this interested in a possible meet up in the few weeks to come?
We could all learn from each others tips and tricks.

I personally need to learn a lot so I don't lose or crash my P3P. I don't really fly anymore because of all of the problems people are having weather it is the pilots fault or the firmware. Lets get together and help each other out!
