Last night I was flying my P4P up to a mountain close to my hometo take some pictures, where lot of rocks fell down in one of 1700+ earthquakes in last two days.

It's more or less normal. It's where the North American Plate and the Eurasian Plate connects.
As it's not moving in same direction this will always happen.

That's a logical conclusion ... because it's not like Iceland has ever had any seismic activity in the past.
In an average week Iceland's national monitoring seismic network detects  around 500 earthquakes.
