Hello!

I know that in the Dji Go4 app era, the video cache was saved on the phone only while recording video.

Is still the case as of dji fly app? I requested back then the feature to be changed to always record the video stream to cache (even in photo mode) or to add some customization to this option.

How do you guys think about this ideea?

I use DU Recorder for this purpose.
It records the screen and audio and is very convenient and unobtrusive to use. It is available for Android devices - not sure about iOS.
If I remember correctly DJI Go 4 was able to cache audio from mobile mike but, other than that, functionality did not change in DJI Fly.

I have ios... i can use screen recorder, but it would be nice dji fly app would record all video feed, no matter if you press or no for recording video!

In dji go 4 video feed was cached only while video recording !

Just give the fly app access to your photo gallery and the videos and photos will save.

I prefer a screen recorder (I use AZ Screen Recorder) and I turn on the tap indicator to show a white dot whenever I tap the screen and I start the screen recorder when I start the Fly app and end it when the MA2 has landed. This setup and process gives me the complete picture (telemetry, status, actions, audio from app and environment) of what I did before and during flight so that I can then go back and review what went right and what areas I can improve upon.  A simple video stream cache would provide none of this.

But there is a feature video cache, and it’s saving a copy of the video feed live from the drone.

I guess AZ is for Android, right?

That's the feature I'm referring to. Try what I said and you will see that you don't have
to download them, they will auto save.

Video cache is a feature in Dji Fly app that records the video cache sent from drone to remote on the phone

I second this request, even if it comes down to changing some entry in a config file for the app.
