I noticed I was unable to change the power to more than 25mw. Is there a way to change this or will I have to mod my gear?

Only in CE mode or under inactive status, the DJI Digital FPV system’s transmission power is limited to as low as 25mW. In all other conditions, it should be able to switch between the highest transmitting power and 25mW. If the country code isn’t corresponsive to the requirements in the local area, did you connect to a VPN Software? If yes, please close the VPN software and try again.
Please check whether all parts (DJI FPV Air Unit, DJI FPV Goggles, and DJI FPV Remote Controller) have been activated.
