If your active track target moves not too fast then the function is very safe and works amazingly well.

It's not just the Active Track...it's APAS that the drone uses to maneuver around/over obstacles.

APAS is disabled when using intelligent flight modes according to the manual - which includes Focus Track/Active Track 3.0. Although it must integrate APAS 3.0 in certain settings.
