In my Mavic Air 2 review I tested its true battery life, range and its other features.
In optimal wind conditions you can achieve about 28 minutes flight time in "normal" flight mode. Switching to "Sport" battery life is reduced by 5-10 minutes according how aggressive you fly.

Not good for the battery to fly to empty like that, try and have at least 20% left for best battery life.
Yes, I know LIPO packs should be never fully empty. It kills the cells.
But, in case of the Air 2 I think is different - being smart battery. They keep some extra charge in the batteries when they shows you 5%. Actually I could measure the cell voltage to see if I'm right.

That would be an interesting test, but they are not the first smart batteries and the others don't hold extra un reported charge.
I get the same flight time on mine in similar settings - achieved over 28 minutes the other day doing two 8K hyper lapses in the same flight. Whilst on the other hand I have got 20 minutes flying at higher altitudes in stronger wind speeds and especially in Sport mode. The flight time variance is quite high on the MA2 - literally 15 to 30 minutes though in most conditions flying in a light breeze and keeping out of Sport mode I get around 25 minutes - about the same or a couple of minutes more than the M2P.
Hovering will not get you the maximum flight time since it doesn’t produce translational lift. A slow to moderate forward speed will get you longer flight times.
Hello there FirstQuadcopter. Thank you for reaching out and for creating this video for the DJI Mavic Air 2. Great work and thank you for your support.
