Being on a motorcyle, I can't carry around a lot of things. One of things thats hard to carry around is a trip pod. So I wanted to test the mavic mini in a decent day with a wind buest of 17 mph. Very stable, So this is a great solution, using my mini as a tri pod xD
I'm looking to get into aerial photography using a quadcopter drone, and am considering the Mavic Mini as a first foray into that arena. I already have a couple of decades of more conventional photography experience, and I'm looking to try this out. So my experience is more in photography, and I have almost no experience in flying things. My only previous drone experience was about ten minutes with a really cheap toy drone a long time ago where I had a really hard time getting it to go where I wanted, likely because it was a cheap toy that didn't have any sophisticated features. But because of that experience, ease of flying is a big concern of mine, because I want to focus more on getting good Speed Test photographs and less about not crashing it because the controls are difficult to use.
