Hi, Just thought I would share my experience with a Decal Girl Skin for my MA2.

Although I love the MA2, I do not like the colour of the body.

  

I decided I'd go with the Slate to keep it looking clean.

  

This is my first attempt at applying a decal to anything and it took me about 90 minutes to complete!

  

Anyone who is interested in adding a skin please make sure you have a hair dryer handy as it is essential to get all the creases out ;)

Let me know what you think to the final result.

It took some time (About 90 Minutes) but yeah they are easy enough to apply. Using a hair dryer makes it a lot easier to make adjustments and get rid of any bubbles or creases.

A couple of things to note.
1) line up one edge first then just follow the contours of the drone.
2) Use slight heat and a soft cloth to push out any problems.
3) If using decals then certain accessories will no longer fit. I have prop guards and landing gear extensions that no longer fit

Looks good. Nice install. DecalGirl has a good selection. I know you just sknned this one. But, if you decide in the future to change to another. Did you know, you can also send her your artwork and she will create a skin with it.  Just thinking about the background art your drone is sitting on. My sister in law created a piece for me and I translated it to my MM.

A custom skin would be really cool maybe after a few Months I will design my own. Thanks for the heads up! My son brought me this one for fathers day and really happy with it.

Your son made a good choice. I find myself changing skins from time to time. I fly the MM, MA and MA2. Have not covered my MA as I like the red. Will likely change the skin on my MA2, before long. Enjoy your flying.

If you use sandpaper to reduce the parts that do not fit well, it may work and you can insert the propeller guards again.

i went with the skin that you first pictured, it's light and bright and white and easily seen and different than the rest of my drones.

however, i like this one too (you seem to always choose the coolest skins).  which one is this latest skin?  i will choose it for air 2 s.
