When I'm facing the drone, the drone is in front of me.
Why does the radar show that it's behind me??
It stays same even if I fly further away!
If I turn my back towards the drone then the radar shows that the drone is in front of me.
Did anyone face this issue?

I think someone on another post said try turning your mobile device 180 degrees in the holder.  I might be wrong about this.

I have a pixel 3 phone.
I had to put the phone in the opposite orientation in order to fix this.
instead of volume buttons on the up and charging port on the right, I had to put the phone volume button in down and charging port in the left. That fixed the issue.  But the cable is short so putting the charging port on the left is a bit difficult.

changing the phone orientation worked out for me.
charging port on the left instead of putting it on the right.

It's really not the solution...just a work-around.  Just what I posted in reply #2.  There should be a real fix. Sorry for your troubles.

I am sorry for the trouble and thank you for the additional information. With regards to the Pixel 3. As per checking the said mobile device is not listed on the recommended mobile device as of the moment. The said mobile device may work but we cannot guarantee the stability and comparability during flight. Rest assured that our designated DJI support are testing and evaluating multiple mobile devices to be added on the said lists in the future. For more information about the recommended mobile device list, please refer to the image below. Thank you.

That is better, thanks.  Nice sky by the way.  Did you calibrate the compass on your phone?  Were you standing behind the drone when you launched it (standing behind the back of the drone). It seems like everything else to try has been suggested.  But the middle section of the radar is controlled by inputs from your phone.

Hi again BobWinNV. I have an Ipad Mini 5 as a display. Do you know how you calibrate the compass on something like an Ipad Mini 5?  Thanks for your expertise.

Hi there,

Try to flip your phone for 180 degrees, connector must be on left side. I tried this today and have much better result, this is firmware issue. I'm using huawei p smart pro phone and mavic air 2. Everything works perfect, only radar have an issue.
