I've had the Mini for a few weeks now.  Here is its first view of the world from just outside our village:

Thanks Woe. I do like the Mini, but it's very frisky in even slight breezes. It copes quite well with the wind though, despite the many warnings.  I do prefer to fly it in Cine mode for slower movement, and certainly I wouldn't consider using it in Sport mode - at least until we are becalmed like the Ancient Mariner

Thanks. The new MMini liked the view as much as I do   Grabbed a bit too much sky, though. A lower angle could have improved it.  I'll try again when the good weather returns.

Kind of you   It's a frame from HD video.  I'm keen to try photographs rather than frame grabs.  Plenty of things to try when the weather is right

You're welcome. I consider getting the mini, but soon realized
the mini couldn't or wouldn't be able to handle my flying style.
Sports mode on that would be at least for me a blast and scary because I
flying in tight spaces and the mini is small enough that I may take to many
risk.

The prop guards are handy for close-quarter flying, but of course the trade-off is the significantly reduced battery autonomy and increased wind-drag. Useful for cinematic mode close=up work though.

I have never been a fan of prop guards, but understand the need.
I would want to maximize the battery usage not reduced it.

I've never used prop-guards on any drone but the mini. It's so small and light, it has an air of fragility about it, compared to the robust models I'm used to. For video and picture quality though it does seem to be punching above its weight   There's a lot to like about it.
