This is a repost of this video which I did back in March. I wasn't happy with the original video so I did a little adjusting. This is a local ski area that got  a record amount of snow and of course had to shut down because of the virus. Left a scene which is a little spooky, all that snow on a beautiful day with no skiers except a few diehards who hiked up.

Nice Aerial view.  Looks like a long ways up, just curious how far, distance wise till you reached the peak?  What was the distance one way?

Distance is about 5000 ft one way, vertically it's 1110 ft above home point but I'm never above 400 ft from the ground. Sorry the vdeo is a little dark due to too dark a filter. I love flying here and have a great relationship with the resort owner. I flew yesterday 7/6/2020 same route, better filter and here's a pic from the top looking east which is the other side of the mountain. You can see why Vermont is called the Green Mountain state. This picture is taken right above the lift unload point probably about 200 ft up.
