FIREWORKS have been a much-loved – and sometimes loathed – part of Territory Day since 1980. Over the years, other states in Australia have banned the private use of fireworks, but Territorians still retain that freedom. Territorians love cracker night - and this video shows it. Territorians set off 270 tonnes of crackers within their allocated five hour window. From 6:00pm to 11:00pm each July 1, the Northern Territory becomes the only place in the nation where it is legal to let off fireworks.

I reckon that's great KF. Brings back memories when persons of a certain ethnic persuasion used to get carried away with reduced bits of HE.
