Just getting a feel for the ZOOM capabilities of this machine. An impressive (to me) step up from my earlier DJI models.
Shot in 1920x 1080 HD video in order to explore the 4x Zoom of optical and digital combined.
I enclose two frames from the video recording. Compressed from PNG to JPG. One at normal (zero) zoom and the other at Maximum (4x) Zoom.
The drone was stationary for a couple of minutes whilst I tested this out.
It impresses the hell out of me. Any other comments or hints would be welcome.
The Chateau is on the heights above a small village on the Mayenne river, in Northwest France.

Hi Depp.  I was on the point of ordering the Mavic2 with the Hasselblad camera, when I saw an excellent demo of the Zoom's capabilities on YT.  That convinced me   For the two images you see, the drone was hovering at 60m AG and 210m distant from the front face of the castle, on the other side of the river. Due to the nature of the terrain, that put the drone at about 20m higher than the castle turrets.

Sure!  When rain stops play (like today) the Forum is a constant source of entertainment. Today is Bastille Day in France (National Day) so it's pretty quiet outside. The Global pandemic has subdued many celebrations this year. But it has stopped raining and the sky is clearing, so who knows... maybe a flying opportunity this afternoon
