Changing the horizontal/vertical velocity of the drone

Could anybody help me with figuring out how to change the horizontal or vertical velocities in the demo_flight_control.cpp code. I am using OSDK 3.8 on the Matrice 600 Pro. I have been able to successfully fly the square mission (using commands such as square_mission.setTarget(48,0,3,0)), and have since altered the route. However, I am having difficulty figuring out how to command a new horizontal velocity to the drone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can adjust the speedFactor parameter to change the speed.

The speedFactor variable changed nothing even when changing to 20, 200, or even 2000. The top speed of the drone remains at around 3 m/s. Any other suggestions?
