hi there
im new to the p3 i have bought it last month, however i tried to update the firmware but i have an issue with it.
first " i didnt have a SD card reader at the moment" i have connected the USB to the gimble  in order to send the update files after i extract them " i have downloaded the update from DJI offical website" once i turn it off then on to let the update start it sounds D-D-D-D-D-D-...........D all the time never stop and there is no light on the plane it self the red, yellow and green.
when i read the text the generated by p3 it says

Result: Failed.
Reboot the aircraft and try to upgrade the firmware again.

What version of the firmware are you trying to install?

The little light that the PDF guide mentions is on the front of the camera, I've attached an image of what it looks like-- it's just  a dot on the gimbal. It should go Green and Red if the update is happening. It took my device all of 25 minutes to get through the update so don't get impatient.

Also make sure you are only extracting the .zip file once. Don't extract the .bin file or the other files within it. Exact the file once, move it to the Phantom's disc, then turn the phantom off, remove the cable from the computer, and turn the phantom back on. Wait for the Green and Red light on the Gimbal to shut off entirely then shut it off again.

What version of the firmware are you trying to install?

ok is it going to sound the D-D-D-D-D- all the time 25 min? i have attached a video of how it sounds and what is happening .
