Dji FLY partly in Chinese!?

Hello to community!

Proud new Air 2 owner signed! My first drone ever.

But, Dji Fly App: Why in the earth it is partly in chinese language? On startup screen when i open top left corner Locationg / Fly spots all the menus are in chinse!


What I can do?



And a second question, why Dji have ditch Dji go app (that older app) from this drone? It looks much more informative / professional..

Hmm.. The hole app is ON ENGLISH (Fly mode menus / settings etc.), BUT the map "sections" at Dji Fly app startpage / Fly Spots / Location map is mixed with chinese. Like i said at the beginning..

Hi Paladin and thanks for reply.

Actually i have tested 2 different devices. Primary device what use fly is Huawei P20 android 9 (latest currently) and secondary device is OnePlus 8 android 10 (latest). And both of those has same issue.

I Just did make that uninstall / install prosedure. And it dosent help either of those devices.

Really Odd.

Whats the correct place to give proper feedback of this Dji Fly App generally? I mean other matters than this. Cause you propably will put this matter forward.

That's the problem.

Yea. It's a bit annoying

And this looks like its got nothing to do certain devices. All tho these are android devices. I havent been able to do test at any apple devices. So i dont know is there this same problem occured..

Hmm.. What you mean by that? Phones language is on Finnish. Dji app language is on english.

But anyways moderator allready put this matter to devteam.

I had same problem, and found a fix or well workaround. The problem is the missing translation of the language on your phone. Its not supported, and the App go to default , witch is set to Chinese and not english as it should have be when sold / used in other places then china.  So what i did, was on my Android  (10 ), go to  Settings -> Language and Input - > Language and region ->Languages and add English and set it as default.  Now the app will display the Zones in English as it should have done by default as English is a supported translation.  I take this will work on all Android versions and even iOS, but its not a fix, its a workaround, and this need to be corrected in the app.  Cheers.

You should probably use a translation service or try to use Google translate. I know only a paid trusted service like https://translationreport.com/chinese-translation-services. Do your research on what meets your needs better. I don't think you need a paid service for this issue

My phone language is set to Dutch and the video tutorials in DJI Fly App / Academy appear in Chinese.
When I change my phone language to English the video tutorials are in English !

Because you can only change the app language inside the app if it is on DJI RC remote.
On DJI Fly for mobile phones version that is not available.
