Today I tried the new iOS 14 beta. The app opens and close after 1 second. I used an iPad Pro first generation. Anyone else with the same issue?

same thing here, just not beta iOS. tried on different phone thats never seen the app -> crash on start if wifi is on. wifi off, the app start, but cant register because wifi is off and it wont connet via mobile carrier (?!)

Got the same issue here on the DJI go 4 app. Went out on an assignment with the mavic 2 pro this morning and the app suddenly crashes after opening it. It crashes immediately. iPhone 8plus. Don’t know never had this before. I use iOS 13.5.1

Deleted the app, installed it again and it keeps crashing.

It doesn’t even work with the full iOS 14. The app opens and works fine but it doesn’t detect my phone when it is plugged in. I tried someone else’s iPhone who is on ios13 and the phone is detected so it’s not the drone/RC it’s my phone on iOS 14  

I recently updated my iPhone to IOS 14.2 and the DJI GO 4 app to V 4.3.38 and went to load the app and it fails

DJI GO 4 crashes after 1 sec. if my iPhone X is connected to the internet. Opens if the phone is on Airplane mode but then you cant login. I recently installed iOS 14.2 public beta.

So frustrating. Losing money right now not being able to fly

I came here looking for confirmation that it's not just me experiencing this.  I did learn that I can fly via AirMap just fine so you can use that to get back up and running while we wait for a fix.

What is air map? I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 14 and my controller won’t detect. Y phone, I also have a iPhone 7 with iOS 13 and it doesn’t detect that one either.

AirMap is a great tool for submitting your flight for LAANC approval. I use it to let me know if I'm in restricted airspace.  It also integrates with the DJI API so it can be used as a replacement for DJI Go 4.

I too just updated to IOS 14.2 Beta and the app closes after about 1 second. Deleted, reinstalled the app and same result.

Have same problem!!

I'm not with DJI but I posted the cause of the issue just two posts up.  It was identified in another thread.

It's Facebook.  Use a different app such as AirMap or turn off Internet access.

I don’t use  Facebook, don’t have their app on my iPad mini 5.   Haven’t ever been on FB site w this device.

I'd confirm, if cellular or WiFi is turned on, it crashes.

I have confirmed in an iPhone 11 Pro Max using iOS 14.2 beta that the app crashes.

Turning phone onto airplane mode allows you to enter the app without crashing and use aircraft as per normal.

So temp solution

I think DJI is working on the problem, but I don't know how long it may take, there should be a solution soon.

now my drone is good for nothing. cant fly it anymore till this issue is fixed

Yes you can.  Use AirMap as a DJI Go 4 replacement or turn on airplane mode.  Good to go. Cheers
