Hey Guys, so this video is for those that are afraid to update their M2 to the new firmware, well i did the stability test for you and distance test. Flew out with the wind and returned against the wind, Yeah it was stupid but i know the capabilities of my Mavic Zoom and its limits well. You will see that when i turned around in GPS mode i was getting around 38kmh and in sport around 52 kmh against the wind when returning. Flight out was 7100 meters which is not much but due to wind I did not go further. When weather is good will push to 10 km hopefully.

Thanks Woe, Yup if it was a still day I could easily have pushed much more, seems that battery life has improved after update as well.
Nice!!! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.

Has anyone done a before and after range test yet to see if there's any real difference?
That same area I flew in, once I cleared that hill I would disconnect, RC signal used to drop to around 1 bar but after update as you can see RC stays almost full - could have easily went further if not for the wind

I did 7000 feet before warnings today but Ive done more elsewhere and this was just a field.
I fly regularly around my neighborhood so I know where I normally start losing transmission. I can say the update did improve the distance and the transmission. Not sure how much more but I estimate 500 to 700 feet more. My M2P seemed to have a good solid communication in areas where I normally struggle.
Great job! something I like to do with my M2pro is to push its limits. I have gotten 5 miles out on mine and I can't wait for the weather to cool down a bit to go further with the current update. Thanks for sharing.
