I am already regretting my order from DJI.com. I wished I had came here first to the forums before odering my drone. My first drone at that. Order placed on July 10th. According to tracking, it has been in a "Clearance delay - Import"  status since July 17th.

Clearance delay - Import
Itemized breakdown of product composition required.
Recommended action:  
Shipper to provide.


This is rediculous. There should be a warning when ordering from DJI.com telling you the mess that your getting into. I would have taken my business somewehre else.

B&H were closed Saturday afternoon when I attempted to order the last Mavic 2 Pro but when they reopened for checkout Sunday morning somebody else already bought the item. I'm not happy with B&H nor DJI, my package has been in clearance delay since Saturday. Contacted support, no response. Tracking Number:  190121410140 / Order: 0012699857970

The same exact thing happened to me, I think our order might be together. I contacted FedEx and they said they are waiting to hear back from DJI about the 400 piece bulk order that our drones are a part of.

Wow. Thanks for the heads up. Mine has been stuck in ANCHORAGE, AK since 7/17.

Sounds like a lack of preparation or experience on the shipper (DJI.com). A delay for clearing customs is normal. But this is crazy. Lesson learned.

Oh, I doubt DJI will extend the DJI Refresh period for the delay in shipping? I guess that would be expecting too much from DJI.

Check your tracking number. Mine shows "International shipment release - Import" as of a couple hours ago.

A similar challenge here.

My Mavic Air 2 and accessories are stuck in MEMPHIS, TN with the message:
Manufacturer name and address or manufacturer identification code (MID) for each commodity required.
Recommended action: Shipper or Importer must provide manufacturer name and address or manufacturer identification code (MID).


I assumed DJI had done this so many times that logistics would not be a problem. I was very wrong. At no time has there been an estimated delivery date, and without expectations, frustration in the times of same-day delivery, I am working to be patient and understanding, but this is frustrating. It has now been a full week and I still don't even have an estimated delivery date.

I was absolutely sure that my drone would come to me from a warehouse in the USA, but no, it came from China and got stuck at customs. Why don't they warn? Before that, I bought this drone on amazon, and sent it back, because they sent me a used drone, it was broken, and without a vacuum seal. What is happening with the service in the USA?!
