What are your thoughts on getting Part 107 Certification?  Besides for being able to work commerically, it seems there are more restrictions imposed on the user/pilot.  Any advantages for a hobbyist to get licensed?

As djiuser said, go under the exception for rec hobbyists, 107 mostly is aimed towards companies using drones to surveil things, and for those doing things for hire.
