Mine were for a little bit too but then things started working fine. I think someone reported me as spam or something cuz I was locked out of posting for a few hrs the other day...  So once investigated they found I wasn't a issue and allowed me to post again

Happened to me.

My reply was to one of the moderators - I was questioning the validity of one of his/her responses.

I assumed my question/observations were not taken favorably and thus this action.

The moderator did respond, but it was out of context, as my original post was shielded.

I asked why and did not receive a response.  I would elaborate here, however I don't wish to be shielded again.  This is not a democracy - this forum belongs to DJI.

Forum mods have full power and rights to delete and or hide any and every post...
Forum users are here to help each other with advice, share pictures, etc.

I'd say that if and when you get a post "shielded" (I have). the best thing to do is nothing. Starting threads or continuing them talking about why you got moderated seems a waste of time and energy for all of us and the mods too. Instead of helping others, they have to focus their attention on ONE person who is asking them why his post was hidden?

Seems wrong to me.....

I ran one of the largest forums on the interweb for 18 years....so this is IMHO. We certainly didn't allow discussion of moderator actions and many other successful forums do the same.

If they are going to stop you from  saying something then they should explain why.. If your not swearing and something along those lines then it shouldn't be shielded, but to shield something someone is trying to say about the product the forum supports is stupid

Their forum, their rules.

I've been super critical about DJI and it's business practices. To date, I haven't been shielded.

I post to a few other forums where if you complain about a sponsor or question a few of the moderators you get suspended and the post pulled.

I figure, I'm a paying contributor to post and I'm going to say my piece.  A most of the mods there are pretty cool, but two have studied under socialistic regimes.

My post was shielded the second I hit post. So it wasn't from them reviewing it. I had a link to an amazon page, so the link must of been flag by some code they have in place.

I just started to get it. No links or not even a critical statement. I think something might not work as intended.

I see you have now, I asked Jon why he  was getting shielded,  and that he looked a little ornery, he laughed and said he thought that it was his firmware joke      What I find about this, to be bit disconcerting, besides the censorship,  Is the total silence from dji.  I guess silence is golden,  goes with the censorship, pitiful concept of what a customer is.

My shielding was a reply post AburkeFL about tort law from Cornell Law Library and a Medivac helicopter crash that resulted in them Aerospatiale changing their official name to Airbus Helicopters.

The Chinese are very fast to censor the negative. It must be a real b itch living there full time. They also aren't forth coming with information.

I'm torn with sending the whole thing back and getting a full refund or staying the course.

Had I known that this was a beta vehicle, I doubt that I would have purchased. The innards don't look anything like the Phantom 2 since they incorporated the speed controllers into the mother board. The same thing with the FPV system.

The firmware problems with no description to the problems that it supposedly fixed and the lack of transparency leave much to be desired.

On top of that, the business practices of not disclosing stock availability and actually shipping within the promised date, leaves a very bad taste with me.

The one positive thing though is DJI appears to have listened about the bitching about the second battery and extending a warranty, though not the quad like I've asked, the battery from the original 90 days to now 6 months.

DJI server, DJI forum, DJI rules (yet if not so democratic)... that's it. As mentioned along the thread some arguments are not tolerated. Easy peasy

Replying correctly from DJI would be much more appreciated by customers (us).

There was no single wrong word in the phrase! I suspect  someone has been complaining about a tiny joke. NOTHING serious, Still don't understand it.
Specially the silence from DJI. I just noticed an Iphone stitched on my name. The same with your name ntsily. Those are shielded. No clue how it gets there b.t.w..
