Today the 250 Racer made its first flight in rate mode, thats gyros only stabilization for us old timers.  A whole lot different than flying a normal DJI machine.  The drone can be screaming along and you're not even touching the sticks.  The goggles with the 50mbps update worked fantastic.  Video is a bit wobbly which hopefully with reduce with practice.

I used to FPV a long time ago, big home made machines, but I never flew them without self level.  Flying with just the gyro's for stabilization is so much different. (acro mode)  Having a small nimble quad is a lot better than the old machines too.  Flights are very short though, only about 6 minutes but that's enough of an adrenaline rush for me.

Yeah, I appreciate this is a very different type of drone flying to the camera drones. I'll have to do a lot of research I think Keep up the great content - awesome to see the twists and turns

Thankfully yes because of highly skilled eye surgeons.  I had a hemorrhage in one eye that completely blocked my vision.  The eye liquid was replaced and now can see again.
