     Interesting video!  So, does the thatch provide insulation against the cold in winter?  Over here it was used to provide insulation against the hot sun year round!  Every child in school made a miniature pili grass hale over here.  Mahalo!

Hello! It works just as well against the colder climate we have here. Sweden is however quite stretched out from north to south and we live on the southcoast. Here we can grow both peech, grapes, lemon and kiwi so I wouldnt call the climate arctic =D Have a nice day.
