Hey guys. I have an Air 2 and it wont let me draw a box on an object to activate follow me or active track. APAS is on and its not in sport mode. Whats the issue?

APAS is disabled when using intelligent flight modes but active track will work if in Sports mode or not. Active tracking however only works with frame rates up to 30p - are you trying to record in 60p?

It was released with firmware .250 - its under the camera section, not control

I have the same problem, but dont’ understand your reply.

The scanning feature was released with the previous firmware .250.

I experience the same issue. When I draw a  box around me...nothing happens (box just disappears). I did discover if I bring the drone into the garage or indoors...I works just fine. My guess is was the lighting, I’ve played with different ND filters, adjusted the ISO and shutter speeds...can’t get it to work outside.

Update to my active track issue. I noticed when using quick shots if the max distance is too low, an alert pops up. So I figured the issue might be the same in active track...and it worked!!!
Opportunity:  Active Track should have an alert

Thank you!  I was having same problem.  I changed the max distance and now it FINALLY works!

What exactly did you change regarding max distance, there's no option to do that in active track... This has ruined my day in Dover. I was really looking forward to using it. It was working perfectly before they latest update.

Did you just increase the height of the drone and attempt active track again for it to work?

I'm thinking of I need to send mine in the repair.
