yeah, the comet

I got busy w/ certain things so I totally missed. : (  I missed the solar eclipse too as I was working on the car outside and was wondering why it was kind of dark but orange for a while.

I think these space sights are as equivalent to looking at the moon.  If there were 50 comets in the sky and 5 huge moons in the sky like in Planetside 2, it wouldn't really matter much.  Imo, the most important things are what happen at ground level or at least with what we are doing here because if we do it wrong we are paralyzed or worse.

Good luck trying to get a decent photo of a magnitude 3 or dimmer comet on a drone with a wide angle lens.
You'd need even more luck to get a useful, acceptable image.

Some people use a narrow focal length then stack the photos up with an ultra-wide foreground.

Clearly visible from the UK. (Or was at the start.  Its rapidly fading now.  Way below magnitude 3).

Yes, but it's likely too dim now... caught a pic with my M2P about 10 days ago and another last Friday.

You'll see it easily with binoculars or a proper camera.
Naked eye maybe not if you've got light pollution.

I couldn't find it, gave up, looked everywhere even drove an hour+ to find it w/ low light pollution and still couldn't find it.

It was shot at a bit cloudy and windy night, which was not ideal for long exposure shooting.

This photo has been taken by Air2.The photo is much darker than the M2P shot due to the smaller sensor and ISO value.

Just a couple of my photo shoots of the C/2020 F3 Neowise Comet, not taken with the drone,
but with my Canon EOS 6D MkII with the Sigma APO 70-300.
One was before the dawn of july 8th ( zoom was 90mm focal lenght)
and the second in the night of july 20th from the hills of italian appennines
(zoom was 190mm focal lenght, image is cropped).
Hope you like the effort .

Yes, you cannot see directly particles movements in a comet... it's too far from us...

if you time lapse it w/ a star tracker would it be possible?

No.

My astronomical pictures are done using iOptron SkyGuider Pro startracker..
You can only see differences in the tails day by day, but you cannot
appreciate those changes directly 'live'...
