Hey, when purchasing the goggles and air unit I had issues of range (1.5km max). I recently had a RMA exchange; however may still have issues.
I am running the latest 1.6 firmware at 1200mw, stock antennas, rural area with little interference and have tested both at 25mbps and 50mbps. Setup is all good interms of unlock display/custom OSD and the unit actually going out of 25mw

My question is when does your signal bar drop to 2-1 bars or go red? and do you continue flying further out?

As since i got my replacment goggles/air unit my signal is dropping after 1km ish however the bitrate is fine so i continue pushing the range until 2.5km.

Just trying to figure out if this is normal for other users or not.

I'd pay more attention to the Mbps.  The signal bars tend to turn red way before the Mbps gets into the danger zone below 10 or so.
