Beirut explosion and Not one aerial capture of some sort?  One good drone aerial can sell to lots of media outlets for lots of money.  It's like paparazzing celebrities for some.

I've got a feeling drone flying might be frowned on in certain counties...especially when you consider Lebanon's neighbor to the south and it's drone capabilities.  You might be putting a target on your back (and front) trying to fly your MA2 around Beirut harbor.

In Lebanon, a permit is required from the Directorate of Orientation before flying a drone and all drones must be registered with the Army Army Command.
and it's very complicated to have

You have a real knack of posting some crackpot inconsiderate threads.

Hundreds of people have died, thousands got injured, 300000 have been left homeless, and you're wondering how people can cash in on this tragedy? Disgusting.

I certainly know his postings are designed to provoke, and usually with little consideration for those he’s obviously not concerned about.

More angles though.  Need to capture the 8 cardinal directions each at various altitudes and distances.  A 360° POI would also be nice.  Taking photos of the entire area would also be great for the government.  I'm not sure if you flew it or someone else but just a one shot isn't enough.

A lot of people don't utilize drone technology more often.  They think you need an M200 in the air or better to have good shots.  Even a Spark or Mini would work as long as you have signal.

If it's your photo, you can sell it to media outlets as a correspondent after doing some digital paperwork w/ them.  They pay after but not immediately.  This goes with anyone who has a commercial license but this is international, so I'm not sure what the rules are.

edit: just noticed it was someone else's but everyone else can get onboard with this too.  Just read what I've put here on how to do it if something massive happens near you.

Damned incredible seeing high rises with every single window blown out.  The crater at the dock was an indication of the power of the blast.

Yeah, this is why presentations like these are great than just words.  We can notice more things that are overlooked like this building.

Also, the fact that the explosion was felt and heard in Cyprus, which is more than 100 miles away.

We (United States) had our own similar destructive (Pepcon) blast back in 1998 in Nevada.  Luckily lot of area was still open desert.  Pepcon made fuel for Space shuttles two solid rocket boosters.

In video you can see shock wave traveling.

Got to see aftermath of damage to houses miles away.  Windows or doors were often poped out, instead of inward.

All those requirements for a drone, but anyone can have an RPG or a warehouse full of ammonium nitrate.
Yes, I've been thinking the same thing.
But to add one thing to your saying flying today all over the world is much more controlled and complicated than buying a gun for example which kills many more people than just a consumer drone...
